Hello, I’m Tess Keeble. I am a psychotherapist in private practice in the North West of England.
Why choose psychotherapy?
You do not have to struggle alone.
Sometimes it is difficult to share certain parts of our experiences with friends and family. Having a separate, safe and confidential space can be vital and healing.
I believe in creating a space where you can be heard, seen and known just as you are. A space where you can learn about and accept the many parts of yourself, even the parts that seem to contradict each other or feel unlovable.
I also offer space for you to explore and understand how your past might be effecting your present. Together we can look at unhelpful patterns you may be caught in and how we can support you in discovering new ways of coping and relating.
I believe as you get to know and trust yourself you will be able to grow and change.
I explore more ideas around what psychotherapy is about in my blog. I have also written an article for the Counselling Directory about choosing a therapist and how I believe that it is the relationship itself that heals: Choosing a therapist

Training and qualifications
I have a diploma in gestalt psychotherapy and I am a full member of the UKCP.
My training in gestalt psychotherapy has given me a grounding in working holistically and creatively allowing each therapeutic encounter to be unique.
I have experience of working short term with NHS clients and longer term with private clients. I have also worked at a therapy service in Sheffield for women who have suffered abuse and trauma.
I am a member of the UKCP and of the Scarborough Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute. I abide by their code of ethics.
33 Hare Hill Road, Littleborough, OL15 9AD.
Littleborough is a village between Todmorden and Rochdale. My room is in Hare Hill Business Centre, opposite Sainsbury’s car park.
It’s a 5 minute walk from the train station and is near the main bus stops in the village.
Unfortunately my room is not accessible as it is on the first floor up some stairs.
Fee and other information
Choosing the right therapist and the right type of therapy for you is really important. With this in mind I offer a free 30 minute initial session. This gives us chance to meet face to face and see if and how we might work together.
After the initial session I charge £40 for one hour.
Please note that I charge the full fee if I receive less than 24 hours notice of cancellation of a session.
I am on annual leave until Monday 29 April.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial session please email me at
email@example.com or fill in the form below and I will get back to you when I return from annual leave.
